india is going to polls- this time after the regular 5 years- good for the country, good for the people- not so sure here- becos we are going to face the same old faces with the same old promises- hopefully this time i see atleast some new faces- fresh faces- energetic faces- and positive faces. to put it in Obamania style- I WANT TO SEE THE CHANGE- and somewhere i am seeing it coming. It just came in the form of Omar Abdullah in J&K- but i want to see more of the changes-
The recent incident of the engineer being killed by a BSP MLA - on top of it the BSP head gives permission- look at the audacity- to do the investigation, to CBI with a rider- all grace to the democratic system we follow- or we think we follow. I dont think in such blatant acts there will be any escape in a country like US or UK or in any of the developed nations of the world.
IF we need the CHANGE- we should change our attitude towards the elections- let us come in huge numbers and vote- let us present that the leaders are leaders- or seat winners primarily because we voted- and now they are accountable for their act. Let us not give in to the whims and fancies of the regional leaders or national leaders- who just want to make a point by accusing someone.
Lets see who are the real leaders of the nation.
let us pray that we get a leader who knows the meaning of leadership.
I believe the only way to change the future of India for the better is for people who really care to participate in the process - not by voting - but aiming to get the reins of the country. Replace the Congress and BJPs of India to be a new force who really cares for the country, the people and the progress of India. We cannot look at a Omar Abdullah or a Rahul Gandhi - who will build their fortress with the support (or rather obligation) of the same old decrepit politicians. We need a new force of educated, honest and well-meaning citizens to form their own party - provide a clear alternative to the people of India and aim to storm to power over the next decade. That is the only way we can change the fate of our beloved motherland!
